I have been playing ultimate team for years. I have never experienced a problem like this until now. The ping is way too high. I cannot play a online match. It's been likes this since Thursday already. I'm addicted to the ultimate team mode and now I must seriously consider leaving it. There's no point in playing anymore if you can't play a match with decent ping.

FC 24 Servers are down in South Africa. I first have a problem connecting to the online game and then after I connect after 20 minutes, the online games have a dreadful lag. I play with a ping of 20 to 30 normally but for the last week my ping has not moved from 300.We did not get any notification from EA stating servers are down or having technical issues. It has been 7 days now since this lag has been there. Can someone from EA help us out in South Africa and get the online version back to normal. We have paid lot of money on this game and in app purchases. This is not cool. Please sort out immediately
From the 2 ppl I was in contact with at EA HQ one was aware of our issue and the other obviously not. No suprises there. All they can say is thank you for your patience, omg seriously. And they can’t give any other answers. I know the next is laughable and I bet my 93 Thierry Henry that took me a month to save for, that nothing will come of this, but I just sent Trip Hawkins, CEO of EA a msg on Facebook messenger. Chances of him reading it is Eskom suppending loadshedding forever. Haha. Let’s all flood his inbox with messages together. Just a thought.
The EA servers in South Africa is down for the past 9 days with no communication from EA Sports. What was we do to get an update from EA on this issue. Even in FC24 you EA Sports promote "Football is for everyone". Why are you not acting like that. No update, no communication to your community connecting to the South Africa servers? There is no way you will act like this if this happened to servers in US and Europe. We are trying on all platforms to get an update from EA regarding this issue but we get ignored. Seems Football is NOT for everyone.
Guys I just brought fc24 but Im really finding it hard to play on line my ping is like 160ms. And I lose at that state. I it was my final money to buy game but I'm so disappointed.
It's a joke that they don't address this issue as soon as possible or/and share a message/e-mail about it, to ease the players at least.. Probably because of the region that's been affected. I wonder what type of actions would have been put in place if an american or european server was down instead. Hoping for the best outcome now.
Ea when will you fix our FC 24 servers in South Africa. From what I know there hasn’t been any reply to the issue. We also want to enjoy the game like other people in other countries. We can’t play any online games with 120-180 ping. Please
They'd probably just respond by saying if anyone else does that Then they'll either ban them forever or consider it an act of violation of privacy... Sadly
Since the latest update the servers in South Africa have not been working and not much communication has occurred between the ea support teams and if there is communication it has not been frequent enough to keep the us the players feeling like our problem is of any concern so I would just like the support team to communicate more even if no progress has been made just keeping us in the loop with whatever they know would be most appreciated as this has been going on for too long now without a hint of what the problem is

Waiting for feedback on South African EA FC 24 servers. Our ping across country has skyrocketed more than a week ago. Our current topic was marked as solved and has not been solved.

@ea when is this going to resolved been over a week now. Spent 1000's on your game and more thousands on packs and this is how you treat your customers. No response except an EA spokesman saying it is noted. Have already broken a controller because of frustration while trying to play with 150ping , just because south africa isn't your meal ticket now we get left behind. Shameful @ea
Does EA including team and members actually care about South Africa and the South African community?
EA and all let’s not lose the South African community, it's crucial to include teams and members from around the world including South Africa. I’ve played this game and I’ve never seen players or teams from the ABSA Premiership or PSL in the games or game modes. Why is this?
South Africa has a rich football heritage and a passionate football community, and it's essential for EA to uplift and celebrate this by featuring South Africa. It feels like EA prioritizes audiences in the USA and Europe, neglecting other regions. Supporting and assisting the South African community, along with other global communities, is vital for the game's growth and inclusivity. So is this going to be the last EA we see playable in South Africa? EA your marketing team is great but you what’s going on in the games? So many South African servers have been lost across many games these games include Apex legends, Battlefield etc. why is this? Why?
Southern African servers receiving poor quality service from the servers. receiving minimum 130 ping
This is Africa you are talking about ,we don't have big streamers to make noise for us . EA only care if the outage affect their big streamers and their preferred community which is Europe and North America ..If this happened in EUROPE they would be getting hourly updates regarding the issue instead of waiting for 10 days without any update. ..I dont think Africa is a Priority for them ..The lack of consistent updates affecting African players ,lack of tournaments in Africa, lack of African Leagues in their game highlight their commitment to Africa . We might as well wait for the Fifa game at this point because it doesn't seem like this issue will be fixed anytime soon ..You guys have honestly disappointed millions of fans in Africa . Stop calling it the WORLD'S GAME when you clearly have preference ....
Why do we as paying customers get left on read when we have an issue. EA does not care about the South African users experience. I am appalled by this and wish there was some communication from a multi-million dollar company. Poor customer services, poor management. Just poor.
They made a post about it a few days ago. They said they are looking into it.
Never mind misunderstood thought it was about another topic.
If it’s about servers they posted they are looking into it in the technical section.
