I’m here to share a deeply frustrating and disheartening experience I’ve had with the game. A week ago, I was banned without any clear reason, and despite my attempts to appeal and clarify the situation, I’ve been met with an unhelpful and dismissive response from EA.
Here’s what happened:
For context, I spend most of my time in Squad Battles. I’ve been learning to play against higher-difficulty bots, experimenting with different players in my squad, and testing various tactics to improve my skills. It’s a challenging but rewarding way to enjoy the game. During one of these matches, the game unexpectedly crashed. When I tried to log back in, I was hit with an error message stating that my account had been banned.
I was shocked and confused. I’ve always played the game fairly and honestly. I’ve never used cheats, exploits, or any form of third-party software. I pride myself on being a principled player, and achieving success in the game through fair means is the only way I find enjoyment. I’ve even avoided going AFK in modes like Rush because I know how frustrating it is to encounter selfish players who undermine the experience for others.
After waiting for a week to hear back from EA Support, their response left me feeling even more frustrated. They claimed that the ban was justified and that their decision was correct. However, they provided no explanation as to why I was flagged or what specific behavior led to this action. Without any details, how am I supposed to understand or address the issue?
Being branded as a cheater is a serious attack on my integrity. It’s insulting and deeply upsetting to know that my honest efforts and time spent enjoying the game have been dismissed without cause. I care about my reputation and fairness, not just in gaming but in life. This unjustified ban feels like a personal attack on my character.
I’m sharing this here because I’m sure I’m not alone. If anyone has faced similar issues or has advice on how to navigate this, please share your experiences. EA, if you’re listening, all I want is a fair review of my case and clear communication. I’m not asking for special treatment—I’m simply asking for fairness and transparency.
