Cheating algorithm in online modes

There are definitely things that happen as a pattern, which would indicate it is the algorithm. Main 2 for me: in VSA the number of poor “good” chances increases dramatically the further you get promoted up. in manager mode there are A LOT of last minute goals to win or tie at over 45 or 90 minutes without even any actual stoppage time added. Also in manager mode, sometimes your team is just firing and sometimes they’re awful. I realize success has to do with the opponent and their system of course, but I’m talking about easy plays like random first touches that just go wayward and you lose the ball, simple passes under no pressure that miss the teammate by a mile and go out of bounds. 

Case in point- say what you want about manager mode functionality but I dominated this game- 53% possession doesn’t tell the story- missed a couple sitters and opponent gets draw with a goal on his only shot and the final kick of the game except for the ensuing kickoff. 

@mendozzamagicI’m sorry mate but you used that human nature excuse last season which was BS then and still is today, but this season EA has changed the game where team seem to be artificially creating mistakes that favour opponents after you win a few H2H games or get to certain level, mistakes like your player makes a great tackle where the ball still ends up with the opponent, or a pass that is intercepted by an opponent because your player didn’t pass it in the direction you instructed him too, or the 4th pass bug where you players make great 3 fast passes but refuse to make the 4th when it’s going to create a goal scoring chance, or the down right refusal to shoot for a certain goal, or the refusal to tackle when defending again an opponent, or the slide tackle that sets up the opposition for a goal, or corner clearance that sets up the opponent for a shot, or goalkeeper pass that gives the ball straight to opposition, or the one that seems to be added back in with todays update where if there is a chance that the opponents defence is not going to get a block in for a shot on goal then don’t stress your own player will block the shot so you can’t score, the algorithm is set up so can’t progress passed a certain level, it will let go up to certain level then it will bring you straight back down, for me it seems to capped at mid L2 in H2H, so I get to about 850,000 then the AI won’t let me win a game until I’m relegated to L1 no matter the opposition or how much you dominate the game it just let you win, it’s the same cycle the whole time, it’s so obvious that your cheated by the games algorithm

I honestly agree with everything described. Im going crazy loosing by mistakes made by the AI.

I recognize each and every example from giving a assist to the opponent by passing them with a weak header, blocking own shots, not making the tackle and allowing the opponent a shot, or taking the ball 3-4 times and still the ball is going back to the opposition.

The absolute worst is when it happens consequtive, 4-5 "mistakes" in a row that sets up the goal.

And the most recent thing - my own players running away from a pass or just missing the ball even though the pass is perfect.

There is also free kicks where i pass a player and he moves away from the position and the ball goes out over the line.

Well my last post was deleted for some reason, didn’t get a warning for violating the forums rules, so no idea why it was removed. 

What’s so frustrating for us players is that it’s so obvious to us who is cheating, yet EA doesn’t remove these players even tho they have access to more data and info then we do. We just want to see some action being taken. 

The cheaters have taken over every PvP game mode in this game. H2H, VsA and now the challenge mode PvP matches. I play the challenge mode matches to get gems. The vast majority of my matches are against cheaters. 80 to low 90 OVR teams with their player either not ranked and trained up to maybe 1 or 2 players ranked and trained to a low level. Yet these teams dominate my almost 5 ranked and fully trained players. These teams also when you check their profiles don’t play any Division Rivals matches and if they do they are in Pro 1 on both game modes. I have plenty of videos that show this. I in-game report every player I expect of cheating yet nothing ever seems to happen to them. 

EA keeps telling us that talking about cheating is pointless on these forums but we won’t stop letting you know have big of a problem this is till you finally do something about it. At least more than what you are doing now. The cheaters are ruining this game, a game that is struggling to hold our interest due to boring events. 

Though some of the things being discussed on here sound like it’s just due to lag and latency issues. Like your players running away from the ball passed to them or the ball seeming to just go right through your players feet. These are both issues due to a poor connection to the server or because your opponent has a poor connection to the servers. I was having those same problems last year till I had my provider come out and check my setup and found that my fiber optic cable was not installed correctly and it was causing connection issues and other issues. Had them replace the wire and no longer had any problems like the ones discussed.
