IMO just a screenshot may only count as supplementary evidence and they may need time to investigate and find true digital evidence from within the game engine
Withoit proper evidence they run the risk of being sued for a wrongful ban
Its high time they insert an anti cheat or an abnormal game activity detection mechansim
The engine must be logging info of all vsa and LvL chances generated so tht scoring pattern can be cross validated before posting the final score
there must be a check
Thanks @mendozzamagic I understand the privacy issues and am not looking for comments on individuals. That's a bit of a cop-out to be fair.
I am looking for any comment regarding process for dealing with vsa/league cheaters. I know there is a team at EA looking at this. I think they deal with refund cheats very quickly. And I can understand h2h may be more difficult to prove.
But when clear obvious blatant cheating is rife, what is the process and how long does it take from report to ban?
There seems to be a clear out every once in a while. Do they save up reports and do it once a quarter? Or do they actually deal with individual reports and take any action?
My league lost 2100 fame to cheating in three days.Adding the +fame we would get for beating these lower ovr teams who can only win by cheating, and our loss is between 4-5K. What is EA doing to stop this quickly and make it right?
With all due respect, we don't see what they do because they simply don't do anything or what they are doing just does not have any affect on the horrible state of the game whatsoever.
I am one of the leaguemates of the OP. We have lost 7 of our last 10 games against cheaters who don't even try to hide it. They simply score 40,50,70, even 80, 90 and win.
We report each and every one of them. They should normally get banned in a matter of hours, if not minutes, if there had been a team dedicated to this, as you claim. Why? Because there is literally NOTHING to investigate. The cheating is so blatant. They score 40+ against +4 OVR. What is there to investigate, for heaven's sake!
Instead of getting banned instantly, they enjoy the top of the leadeeboard for weeks, even months. It is the same for VSA btw, let's not forget it while discussing about LvL. It is even worse.
I am tired of writing the same thing on every platform. It is unbelievable how EA handles cheating on a football game, where it is all about competition.
You can't let people get away with weeks or months of cheating. You simply can't.
