There are two kinds of players: Founders Players and Pioneer Players. Only Pioneer Players will carry over (same player but lower ovr) to the next season. These Pioneer Player Cards are also green but have a small flap coming out on the side. In most places "pioneers" is mentioned above the card. You can also go to the Players Bio section in a player's card to see if they are Pioneers. Pioneer Players cannot be bought from market- you get them as rewards from the events or packs. Best of luck!
