Re: Visit commonwealth court Opportunity, glitch
Looks like we've all gathered in this thread to shout: 'ME TOO!" I'm having this problem right now. Thankfully, the music hasn't looped for me. It just doesn't show as being completed. The 'Visit Commonwealth Court to complete the opportunity" remains. But when I go back to it -the yellow *Help Investigation* Icon is there, but when I click on it the usual options for the police station is there. I know I had completed this oportunity because the option was there the first time (by first time I don't mean that I did this opportunity twice, first being with a different sim, what I mean is the first time I clicked on the yellow Help Investigation icon, the option to help was there, she went inside, etc. etc. but the game still says "Visit Commonwealth Court to complete the opportunity".
I don't have any 'Mods' -I've just decided not to use any because I don't like wondering when one of them is going to screw up my game because of a patch or something. I don't have any CC. I have some hair and clothing from EA store, and some outfits and hair textures from the Exchange. The stuff that I had added to the game from the Exchange I had added to the game AFTER I had this problem with this opportunity.
Could it be because there are 3 buildings in one here? City Hall, Military and Police Station?
Oh crap, I just noticed the title of this site: *Answer HQ Ask. Answer. Be the Hero." Damn, no one from EA probably even looks at this site. WE are supose to 'Be the Hero" meaning "fix it your damn self if you can, and if you do be sure to tell us so EA doesn't have to be bothered". Just freakin wonderful.
Hopefully someone from EA will prove me wrong and come to the rescue here -but I doubt it.
So in the meantime what are we suppose to do? Just keep restarting and hope by some miracle that it will 'just like magic' suddenly and without reason - continue as normal, that one time if we DO THIS OPPORTUNITY ENOUGH TIMES the game will work as it should?
This "Glitch" happened for me in Moonlight Falls. Has ANYONE done this opportunity successfully in another town? If so WHICH TOWN? And just out of curiosity -was the police station in its own building instead of sharing a building with the Military and City Hall?
