Re: Objects locking up and disappearing
To delete objects in use:
- Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
- type testingcheatsenabled true
- Shift-Click on the object in question and choose object-delete
- Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
- type testingcheatsenabled false
As for the invisible umbrella, Try moving your family out and back in again (only idea I have but I don't think it works). Only thing that probably does work, is to bulldoze the entire lot and build something new. If you have a backup before you placed the umbrella, you can export your house from that game and then simply re-place. If it's a house you have in the library, simply re-place
