I have a different pc to the one I had previously so I wouldn't be able to find it again that way. I thought that about the game being able to be used only the once, but the previous owner had used it, and it installed fine for me the first time too :/

You can install and play used games but you can't register the game to your account.

How do you install a Sims 3 game on your computer (not origin) when the manual doesn't have a serialnumber? I have the original game, with manual. Only serialnumber below the manual is missing! 

I'm looking at my Sims 3 Seasons disc manual and the code is on the back page top of the manual.

I see, but I am from the Netherlands and normally the code is below the manual.. only in this case.. there is no code on any page of the manual!
