Re: EA App: Sims 3 Create a World Edit in-game doesn't work

I spent the past two years on various WIPs that I had to postpone because of several technical issues, along with real life issues.

When the dust settled and I was able to return to my WIPs, but then was told that I had to upgrade to EA App. All fine and dandy, but you're not able to use CAW with this app.

Fine then. So I stuck with Origin for the time being hoping at some point that in the meantime, something would come up and I'd be able to migrate to EA App. Instead, what happened as of this week is that you killed Origin to such an extent that I can no longer use EIG or SuperCaw anymore.

Decided to see if I could switch over to Steam, but now I'm hearing that the workaround for CAW doesn't work anymore, either.

Please tell players like me a way that we can "hack" EA App or use some other workaround for CAW. But you cannot arbitrarily "killswitch" CAW or TS3. You can't put an arbitrary time table on how long people get to play or enjoy a game to the fullest, because people, in the end, have lives outside of the game that prevents them from being on the same time table as the players who had the luxury of playing this game 24/7 year in and year out.

By killing "CAW", what you did was make a joke out of the hundreds of hours that so many of us put into these WIPs, as well as all the money that we spent on the many EPs, SPs and store content we bought to help us build them.

You're also costing yourself additional revenue. I was literally, as we speak, going to buy the last three EPs and looking at three more store worlds (Lunar Lakes, Sunlit Tides, Lucky Palms). 

The point is, I want to know what is going on with Create a World? Did you just decide to killswitch it? Or are you working on it? If you're working on a fix, great! I'll be the first to praise you and leave a gushing post of gratitude, as well as post an update on my website for everyone. But please let people like me know what is going on? ETA?
