Re: sims 3 error trap: Sim is script error

@ruthmoses  You should definitely use "save as" and rename the save, rather than the regular "save" option, just in case.  This creates a new save file, with the old one remaining intact, so you'll have a backup if you need it later.

Whether your save is okay or not depends on the underlying issue, not the scripterror itself but what it was reporting.  Most scripterrors are correction logs, just ErrorTrap reporting what it fixed with no ongoing issues and no further action needed.  The time to worry is when you see the same scripterror repeatedly or when you see evidence that something isn't working correctly.

Still, if you want to be sure, ask for help on the NRaas site.  Start a new topic and upload the scripterror: drag and drop the file itself, not the text, to the window where you type your reply.  Someone there will read the file and let you know whether you have an ongoing issue that needs addressing.

@ruthmoses  You can try using a different browser to access the NRaas site.  If that doesn't work, I can take a look at the scripterrors.  Either create a .rar file and attach it to a post in this thread; or zip the files together, upload the file to a third-party filehosting site, and link it here.  If I recognize the error(s), I'll let you know whether you need to do anything.

I wouldn't recommend deleting ErrorTrap.  It can be quite chatty, but that's a sign that it's doing its job in cleaning up your save.  Without ET, all that garbage data would just accumulate until it started corrupting things.
