Poor Graphics Despite Recognized GPU

The Sims 3 - I have tried virtually everything, including editing my game files, tweaking my NVIDIA & Windows graphics data, and downloading a GPU add-on, but nothing has worked. The game supposedly recognizes my graphics card, but my Sim's skins and clothing textures are still pixelated and poorly rendered. Attached are some photos of my files. I am using a brand new, high-quality gaming computer.

I am not using Steam or EA -- I have a disc. Before starting the game, I have to de-select some of my laptop's cores through Task Manager for the launcher to work. Could this be affecting my in-game texture quality? Please help!

Hey, puzzleaddict! I sent you a message, but I will also comment here in case your PMs are full.

Are you able to help me fix my Sims 3 in-game graphics? I have tried virtually everything, including following your instructions from other threads, editing my NVIDIA & Windows graphics data, and downloading a GPU add-on, but nothing has worked. • SFContact  Your GPU is properly recognized, so that's not the issue.  Deselecting the CPU cores might be contributing to the issue though.  Try the Alder Lake patch mentioned in the accepted solution here:

    Sims 3 won't open: Alder Lake (Intel 12th-gen) CPU | EA Forums - 8265525

Or at the very least, reenable the CPU cores at the Main Menu.  The problem that keeps the game from loading on newer Intel CPUs is only in play for the first few seconds post-launch.

If this doesn't help, switch from fullscreen to windowed mode, or vice versa, then quit and reload to see whether there's a difference.

If that doesn't help either, please post screenshots of the issue.  What you're describing may be a real problem or might fall within the normal range of low-quality-graphics complaints we see about an older game that doesn't get along perfectly with newer hardware.
