@Hunter-Chase-Bla I'm not sure what's going on with your game. The guides say that to unlock the mystery journal, your sim needs to go to City hall and register as a "Mysteriologist," whatever that is. Here's more information:

Could you post the exact message you're getting? And is it possible for you to try on a new save? Perhaps this one is borked.
