    Hello!

    installing that patch and then launching it through TS3W Application located in the  the sims 3>game >bin like you suggested in another comment that was so helpful!..Seemed to launch the game for me!

    Its playing fine for me as of right now, but will i run into problems activating and getting more expansions? or what about Mods? if you can share any more info thanks <3

    @J0eyNeko  This issue is independent of how many packs or mod's you've installed.  The only reason the problem would come back is if you repaired the game in some way, or of course uninstalled and reinstalled it.  So go ahead and install whatever packs you want to use.  If you run into the same issue, apply the patch again.

    Mods should be fine too, but please do make sure you're only downloading mods compatible with patch 1.67 or 1.69 and that don't have any reported issues.  One bad mod can destroy a save quickly and effectively.  If you want somewhere to start, here's what I recommend for overall stability:
