Auto Tap In Misses

Product: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug I had the auto tap-in feature on for putts inside of 1 foot. While playing in the US Amateur tournament, the auto tap in missed the tap in and I received a bogey instead of a par.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By using the auto tap in feature
What happens when the bug occurs? The auto tap in putt misses (mine ended up short)
What do you expect to see? A missed putt

The auto tap in feature is designed to make things easier. However, it takes longer and it is possible for it to glitch and you miss the putt.

    Ever since the patch, my game has been freezing on the auto tap in, I'd say about 50% of the time.

    @dson8 This happens a lot if playing with a pro in final round career. Miss a ton of 1ft putts usually because pro aims way to left or right and hits exact power

    I have had 3 missed auto putts in 2 rounds of the Masters. Pretty ccol.

    it just happened to me too on the 17th at korn ferry tour amateur. Didn’t really matter as I am still -20 going into hole 18 of 2nd round. Still annoying though. They should’ve told us this can happen, turn it off

    I just had this happen today. Putt was wide left at Bay Hill at the Arnold Palmer on 14. Ended with bogey as a result.

    Happy to wear the random 3ft miss as I can miss these on my own but missing a 2 inch putt c'mon seriously should not even be possible to only hit the ball 1 inch

    Same happened to me on a 2 footer. This seems like an easy thing to code and qa. Really pathetic impression created by the possibility of this bug.

    QA: look into distance + elevation being longer than auto putt distance

    same circumstance might be affecting whether auto putt is enabled in some situations. I've seen it make me make putts within 3 feet when distance plus elevation is greater than 3 (another bug, imo)
