I recently started a another season on f123 whilst waiting for f124. Season 1 to season 2. Some of the driver moves were somewhat unrealistic. Such as Leclerc moving to Haas and Ocon to Ferrari. My idea is why not allow the option for the player to decide the moves for better realism? You could bring Bearman into Haas for example. The crazy moves the game makes spoils the immersion somewhat
@Darthsausage44 Yes unfortunately this has been an issue since they introduced driver transfers in 2018(?) and as ScarDuck said they never really gave a proper solution for whatever reason. I think we've all had a career mode or two where a runaway championship leading Hamilton or Verstappen suddenly decides to midseason leave and go to Alpha Tauri or Williams.

I am afraid, that CM try to avoid, that we can adjust the driver movements, from real life, because it possibly could mean that some of us don't buy a new game with the correct driver line up...
I really would be happy if there was a little system behind it. I mean with drivers and team acclaim it can't be too hard to write a script about realistic driver transfers. For example only drivers with acclaim of 10 or 12+ can drive for Ferrari.
And a driver with acclaim 10+ only choose a team with the same or more amount of acclaim. So no leclerc or verstappen to haas.
The only thing is that this system would avoid a move like kimi raikkönen to sauber, but nevertheless it would still be much more realistic.
