Re: Needing to reset my EA account password to access PGA

Same issue here. Just keeps sending me to reset my password. It won’t let me even try to log in. Here’s a QR code to reset password is all it gives me.

It's possible your PSN ID is linked to an EA account that is old or disabled. Try logging in here to see if your account is linked - https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index. If it's not linked, contact an advisor by opening a case here. They should be able to assist with this. Thanks!

I changed the email for my PSN ID when I first purchased my PS5…my last console was a PS3…so all I did was update my email from an old and disabled one to my current one. You can’t tell me that’s the real reason here? 

I don’t have any accounts linked. Nothing shows up in that area.

It sounds like you need to link your PSN ID. To do that, follow the instructions listed here. It's possible your PSN ID is already linked to an old EA account. You can find instructions for unlinking accounts in that article as well.

Nothing is working or being recognized…this is ridiculous. All I want to do is play PGA and it’s like pulling teeth to connect to the servers because the accounts won’t link up. Sounds like an EA issue not me. I’ve done my part in trying to reset passwords and logging on. Weak customer service. Created a case and it’s determined “no fix” please explain this…

I unlinked my EA and Sony accounts but now it's saying it can't link my accounts because it was already done once in the past.

What an absolute joke of a * show of a game and a company.

I checked your case and it looks like they ended the chat because they didn't get a response from you. I see you opened a new case so they should be able to help with this there.

Thanks. I've got nothing better to do with my day then sit and wait for a rep to respond and HOPE I respond soon enough so they don't close the case in a matter of seconds or min's without a reply...

Any resolve yet? I’m seriously pissed I paid money for this game and even more so that I paid more money to have it earlier. Even though half the game I can’t access because of this. Ridiculous.

Are you trying to play on a console or PC? If it's console, there is no PSN ID or Xbox gamertag linked to your account. You can find help with linking accounts here.

I’ve reset my password multiple times trying to link my PS five account to EA. Every time I do it, it tells me there’s an error and I need to reset my password I can’t get on and set a new case because my EA account is not linked to the PS five so the PGA game or any other, EA game is not playable 

This EA help is useless...you can't give us any direct help besides links to click on and obviously none of your links are helping. obviously these issues are bigger and your "simple" solutions of linking accounts together isn't working. It's should be automatic, when a person is signed into their PS5, loads an EA game, that EA recognizes the account or at least  has a sign in section  instead of some stupid QR code that just wants you to reset your password to the point where you've ran out of ideas to use as a password and remember the damn thing....GET US SOME REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! LOOK INTO THE PROBLEMS FURTHER!!! QUIT GIVING US LINKS THAT DONT HELP US!! THIS IS BULL@#$%!! 

I've tried everything in this thread. My EA account was linked to my old Xbox, unlinked it, but now can't link it to my PS5 account. When I tried to log in with my credentials for my Ps5, it says password is incorrect. When turning on EA golf, it doesn't even give me the option to try and enter my info, it just asks me to scan the QR code and takes me to the help site on my phone. Super frustrated this is so challenging. 

This is what’s happening to me too. I’m furious. Why is this so hard? I can’t even attempt to log into EA on the game. 

Seriously this is unplayable and unacceptable if there is a problem than EA should announce something... I don't see the need for me to be online for a game that I pre-ordered and payed a total of $90 for and it broken from the start I'm debating trying to get a refund... just let me play career mode I don't need online

I still can't get this to work. I don't get it. Why doesn't it just have a log in to EA account IN THE GAME? Or why isn't there a link accounts button within my customer portal? Infuriating and so frustrating.
