Recently started playing this and I'm enjoying it so far, but I've come across a problem. If I finish below the hole on a two-tiered green, I cannot get the ball up the hill even though I'm maxing the swing - is this a game failure or am I doing something wrong? It seems ridiculous that I can drive over 300 yards but don't have the power to putt up a steep hill
It's all about the intent aiming marker in this game. On greens like Augusta, sometime we have to place the marker way past the green to get near the hole. The easiest way is to go to setting, and set the Putting Aim Point from At Cup to Assisted-Aim and save the change. It will put the aiming marker at the distance you need to hit it. If you don't like it or find it too easy after a while, you can switch back to At Cup.
Thanks! I feel v stupid. I had the marker set at 2ft past the hole and I assumed you couldn't move it further or nearer! I only ever moved it left and right.
