10 Suggestions for F1 24 - That would require little development time!

This is taken from my Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/F1Game/comments/14wr409/10_suggestions_for_f1_24_that_would_require/

I've seen some great suggestions on r/F1Game and elsewhere of how to improve the F1 games, and not that they're too ambitious, but Codemasters tend to take small steps when introducing features and realistically many of them are years away, unfortunately. I'm no game developer but; here are ten additions Codemasters could make that would require very little development time and could very feasibly be included for F1 24.

  1. I'm putting this number one because it's that important. Allow us to restart a session with a different difficulty. Once you choose to restart you're given an option to change the difficulty before reloading. It's that simple.

  2. Allow up to ten save files for career mode. I include this because we had this many in previous games so it's definitely possible. Three is very limiting for many people. Even five would make a big difference.

  3. Include current and past driver names in the audio name section. So this year I chose to race as Mick Schumacher in my career, however, there's no option for Crofty to say 'Schumacher' when announcing my name, even though Mick was in F1 22 and the audio file exists, somewhere. The audio names could be expanded but it would be very simple to add files that are already present in the current and past games to the section the player can choose from.

  4. Remove, nerf or adjust personnel upgrades. Currently, top teams will grant their drivers 10+ pace at the start of the season due to their personnel upgrades. This is hopelessly unrealistic as pace is capped at 100, so many drivers hit that cap instantly, rendering their base differences obsolete. Remove the system or adjust the values to maybe +1/+2/+3 accordingly.

  5. Mute Mark when I open my MFD. Frequently I'll open my MFD to ask Mark about the weather or the driver ahead when he buts in and tells me DRS is available or keep managing the tyres. This closes the MFD and I have to reopen it and scroll to the option I was about to press. Simply mute or interrupt Mark when I open the MFD and make this a toggle option in the settings.

  6. Allow us to customise the order of the MFD in the settings. This is self-explanatory, the UI customisation is great so why not include the MFD in that? It's annoying trying to scroll down to the weather report whilst taking a corner on a controller, allowing me to put it as the first option would make it much easier.

  7. Include sprint results and constructor results from past seasons in the standings. Currently sprint results are not displayed in the standings and are simply lost to the void once completed, same with constructor standings once you've completed that season. Add a toggle on the standings page to switch between Drivers' and Constructors'.

  8. Ensure the max car for every team is of the same pace. I've noticed that once every team maxes out their car, some teams are still quicker than others. Hypothetically this should not be the case, each team's car should max out at the same theoretical pace.

  9. On that subject, make the later upgrades more expensive. Frequently cars will max out quickly over the course of seasons even with reduced settings on. Increasing the price of some of the bigger upgrades would help with this.

  10. Expand the driver pool. We can start by including every team's reserve driver and past drivers from previous seasons. We could also include Formula 3 drivers, licensing assuming. The ideal is generated drivers but that would require a sizeable chunk of work. The aforementioned wouldn't as it's very easy to make a face, some stats and throw them in as a free agent.

There's ten suggestions for now, if you guys think of anything else I'll add them in. Codemasters, if you're reading; those suggestions shouldn't take too much dev time to implement and would have a great impact on the game, cheers!
