configuring UltraWide 45"curve monitor for f1 24 game

I just purchased a 

Lg monitor ultragear oled 45gs96qb but I'm having problems getting to display properly. If I set the ratio to 29:1 the image does not fills the entire screen. The best option has been to set the ratio to Auto, but then my FOV looks distorsioned like enlarged. Is there an article to help with the configuration? I'm hearing from other posts that F1 24 does not properly work on ultrawide monitors, is this true?
BTW this is on PC and the monitor works great with iRacing.
