Re: my sims believe there’s a fire even though they put it out

@Awsomeninjacool, have you tired to travel with your household? 🤔 Try hitting the "M" key on your keybord and see if that will bring up the screen to select your Sims to travel.  If it will let you do that, then choose one, or better yet all of your Sims to travel to some other lot and then have them return. 🙂🤞

But that doesn't work, and if after at least a Sim hour you still can't get your Sims to stop acting as if there still was a fire on the lot, then I would just quit without saving and reload the game from the last point you saved.  I know you don't want to do that, but if you can't get your Sims to do anything else, then you might have to.😢
