@Lilpunkkkkk , "Raccoon" and "Fox" are treated as a breeds of cats and dogs respectively. In reality, in the game the raccoon is a cat that looks like a raccoon, and the fox is a dog that looks like a fox (you can also change their vocalizations to match these "breeds"!)
Technically, both foxes and dogs are in the canine family, so there isn't as much of a stretch. However, raccoons are not in the feline family, but the developers just decided to have a bit of fun with how some cats have a striped tail similar to a raccoon's striped tail. Both the foxes and raccoons "breeds" were just added to the game to have a little fun and maybe tell an interesting story! 🥳 - DizzyDee-K4 years agoSeasoned Ace
The Foxes and Raccoons the came with Cats & Dogs have also have different "voices." I sort of enjoy them. When C&D first came out I often saw Foxes and Raccoons wondering around Brindleton Bay. They could be adopted like any other stray. Haven't seen this for a long time, though.
