Re: My Sims 4 CC Won't show up!! Help please!

@heyhiheyfren  There are two issues here.  The first is that the game won't read any files on the desktop, so the Mods folder where you're adding your mods isn't being used by the game.  The second issue is that if you have your computer set to automatically sync the contents of Documents with iCloud drive, your content may disappear from your internal hard drive, and the game won't be able to find it.

The way the system works is it keeps one copy locally as well until it thinks you're running out of internal storage, then it deletes the local copy and only uses the one in iCloud Drive.  But Sims 4 doesn't look in iCloud, it only looks in the local version of Documents, so it won't find anything that only exists in cloud storage, and instead it'll spawn a new copy of the Sims 4 folder, with none of your existing content.

To avoid this issue, please first disable automatic syncing of Documents with cloud storage.  Actually, first move the Mods folder on your desktop somewhere else (you can just drop it in Downloads) so it doesn't disappear.  Then disable auto syncing of Documents and Desktop, as shown here:

https://bluebellflora.com/2017/02/06/sims-3-and-sims-4-not-loading-save-games/

Now start the game once, which will generate a new Mods folder in the local Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder.  Move your custom content to that folder, enable cc and script mods, and it should all show up.  Let me know if it doesn't.

By the way, you can leave iCloud enabled overall if you want and manually sync any folders you'd like to back up.  The issue is the auto syncing, not having iCloud running at all.

@heyhiheyfren  As long as you're sure you have all the content you want, then yes, go ahead and delete the other folders.  You may want to wait a couple days to empty the trash though, in case you realize later you're missing some file you'd like to have back.  Once you know you all your content is still present, then everything else can be deleted.
