Re: Calientes refresh and townies refresh in general
I have mixed feelings about the Caliente refresh.
On the one hand, I do like the new versions, I like the way they look, and I like the changes to their traits and aspirations (especially Nina)...
On the other hand, my personal starter save does two things: It includes my custom holidays, and it fixes the relationships between household members to match their household bios/lore. For example, Don is Katrina's boyfriend but he has romance bars with both her daughters, especially Nina. (I had also changed Dina's aspiration to Fabulously Wealthy, so I'm delighted that the Sims team did that as well.) I even made it worse in my starter by giving Don a crush on Nina, and giving Katrina a fear of being cheated on. (Poor Katrina!) So I was disappointed that their relationships with each other didn't match their bios in the update. Like, Don is just their roommate with no romance bars with anyone, just an acquaintance.
(I also went in and added Johnny Zest to the Landgraab family and gave them sentiments in my starter: Johnny feels hurt by Nancy, and Geoffrey feels guilty towards Johnny. Also I made the Pancakes barely friends and with very little romance. You get the picture)
That small criticism aside, I do like ESPECIALLY the changes to the Caliente's traits, aspirations, and the added likes and dislikes. That's awesome!
