Re: What Happened To Madden

@bpellerin And, that is EXACTLY why you're part of the problem. You say how disappointed you are in Madden and how the game is the same and never changes, but you're playing CFB25, and enjoy it? Did you buy it? It's the EXACT same game with similar issues...LOL!! You STILL contributed, they have your money, one way or another...

...this literally makes no sense. But, cool. Glad you're enjoying CFB25, I suppose?

@dokken12 The reason people complain is because their feedback is not taken seriously. Madden knows that they are the only ones creating NFL simulation games. People want to play NFL football games but are stuck with Madden. Do you understand this? EA know people love the NFL and every year they know that people will buy Madden in the hope that it is better, but it never gets that much better. Just a little bit.
  • @SuperNTG Of course I understand it, I've been playing EA football probably longer than you've been alive, for 34 years.

You obviously didn't understand my initial response above. I criticized him for disliking Madden 25 (which is warranted, it's awful), but STILL purchasing CFB25. He criticizes EA, but still buys or invests in their other football product.

I'm VERY well aware of the EA history with the NFL and exclusivity. You can't explain anything to me that I've already known. With that, I agree with you.

I am a maddeneer forever. I am perplexed why the people who never like this game buy it. This is my favorite time of the year because of my favorite video game of all time aka the G.O.A.T.

  • I'm glad I didn't buy Madden 25. I'm tired of having struggled forever with the same problems with the previous versions of this game. The bugs were sometimes hair-raising, and I often wondered how you could bring such a product to market every year without having to be ashamed of it. But that's because EA has no competition to fear, because otherwise the market would regulate it. But as long as EA doesn't have to fear any consequences, they will continue to do what they have been doing and continue to rake in millions with all the players who spend extra money to put together a very good team.
Finally, I wish all those who continue to play and defend this game a lot of fun. Maybe at some point you come to the conclusion that it's just a game that is not worth buying over and over again every year.
