I moved your thread to the Madden 24 forums. It was previously posted under EA Originals. As far as your issue goes, it's very possible this is connection related. You can find help with connection troubleshooting in these articles:

If you're using a wireless connection, it would be best to switch to a wire. Wireless is unstable so lag and disconnects can be common. The first thing to try though is power cycling your network and console/PC.

    @EA_Aljo I have my cord running to play station and i have been in ouch with playstation were all in agreance it isnt me or my playstation 5

    My download speed is 353.1 and my upload is 10.5  why am i encountering this lagg in madden is it glitches or lagg sticks. I play mut championship online and the players r lagging me out in about every game why is this going on i been spending money to encounter lagg beating me or some form of cheating ,or unfair play online mode

    Thanks for those details. Did you try the troubleshooting steps in those links I provided?

  • Having the same issue on PS5 in H2H and multiplayer franchise.
    Only have this problem with madden 24.

    Fortnite and other games run perfectly.

    Ive followed all suggestions in help section and no improvement.Contacted my ISP and all is ok.

    I port forwarded my router and didn’t help.

    Game is unplayable online and 100% a server issue. I have no faith that ea will fix it and accepted I’ve been sold another dud game.

    How do u properly fill out and submit a form for cheating am i doing this properly y cant i contact ea personally

  • Wired connection and have tried more than what they suggest on EA help.

    I created ticket with online chat and it was closed within the hour without any action from EA.

    What have you tried so far? I don't want to suggest any troubleshooting you've already attempted.

  • *TV in game mode with all screen filtering off
    *LAN connected

    *Reduced resolution

    *PS5 and game in performance mode 

    *Turned off 4K

    *Port forwarded router with static PS5 IP.

    *Tried to DMZ router but PS doesn’t allow NAT1

    *Had my connection checked by my ISP

    *Pinged my ISP and IP

    address 

    Rebooted PS5 and router 

    *Live cheated EA help only to have ticket closed without any help.

    @EA_Aljo Is fair play ever coming back? I hope it does. Or at least the ncaa football sportsmanship rules should return.
  • it’s mainly input lag in game and play all screen.

    The graphics seem pretty stable.

    Sometimes pressing button doesn’t register and always a delay.

    I have already disabled Bluetooth and connected via usb cable.

    I tried rebuilding database and clearing cache in safe mode last night, it was a lot better but I only played one game to test it though.

    What did you connect by USB? Is the game still performing better?

  • @EA_Aljo Connected the controller the PS5.
    Still having the same issue.
    I think it’s a server issue on EA’s side!as there are a lot of people having these issues.
    Will just have to wait and hope they fix it.

    We're not aware of any connection issues on our end currently, but will watch out for those. Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas so please try opening a case with an advisor here to see if they have anything else to suggest. Thank you.

  • I’ve emailed EA support and they have said otherwise.

    There is defiantly an issue on EA’s side.
