It is possible your antivirus or other security software is interfering here. 

For testing purposes, temporarily disable your antivirus or other security software and retry playing.

That isn't the issue. This is frustrating because this also happened to me with FIFA 24. If there is no workaround, how can people get refunds?

I did the same thing and it didn't work. This is frustrating. You can't even uninstall the anticheat stuff because it tells you that it needs it to run the game. 

I have disabled anti virus, and i have tried every fix I could find from previous EA games like fifa and madden 24 with the same error code.  My madden 25 is so broken at this point it doesnt show up when I search for the list of games in the EA Anticheat app.  Previously though. it was there I tried to use the repair tool and got the same error messages as OP.   This sucks, I preordered the game and took the day off to play this and I have spent 5 hours trying to fix it with no solutions working.  Getting to the point where Im just going to refund it

Update 8/19 - refunded it, still completely unable to play the game :/

I am also having this issue. I don't have antivirus. I removed it after my license expired last week and I am shopping for a new one.

Anti-cheat is silly to be developed if a user will not be playing online. Therefore, coders should only have this feature running when this part of the application is used. There are other factors this should be done as well. Primarily reasons involve memory management and memory forensics. This is a lazy way to code an anti-cheat.
