Re: Unable to join the session as all players were not on the latest version

Would it be possible to get more information on this?

• Which platform are you on?
• Are you getting an error message?
• Does this only happen in one game mode?
• Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue:

I play on Xbox Series X and my gamertag is Stretch8478 on that console I also have this problem with an error saying me or my friend isn’t on the latest version yet both of us have no updates this problem we noticed so far was for online head to head and when we tried to play each other in franchise mode.

Nope! Tried Superstar KO and even Solo Challenges co-op, also play a friend... We can't join each other at all! We only play mut squads and we spent a lot of money, but we DO game share the actual game, but we buy points for packs... Wondering if there is a glitch with game share on Madden 25? Never been an issue before.

We both tried turning cross play off and on, doesn't work. We've tried inviting to trios squads and duos squads, doesn't work.

Can't right now as he's at work I'm at school.

However, it's very disappointing.. we almost want a refund as we can't play the modes we want to play.. we are just waiting... Squads glitches has happened before and we were locked it for weeks before for a previous Madden. I hope you can escalate this to your team and get a patch out quickly because our game is just useless now and I purchased the deluxe edition for 3 days early access and it's pretty much useless as I dont play solo...

I don’t have one but I believe the problem is due to we are game sharing . That’s seems to be happening to all of us trying to play with our friend we are game sharing with

i can play online head 2 head just cant join or invite friends it says i dont have the same version, in franchise, h2h or superstar ko, i real’y need a fix for this, this is a huge disappointment 

It doesnt work with who i game share with, but it dowsnt work with other friends either

They need to fix this , I spent like 5 hours trying to make it work and nothing . I don’t wanna get off work and waste my time trying to play again

The message says something to the tune of “unable to join as one of our game versions are not up to date” We checked it and the game version is the same

I'm with you buddy. Unfortunately, EA doesn't care. They may be the first company to block game sharing through this method. The game is broken year after year. They have a job to communicate about issues and no one seems to care or recognize the issue. I'm trying to get a refund through Xbox but I'm screwed cause I started playing, even though I only play squads with my friend as we split teams. I don't know why myself and others fall for this trap every year..

Still no fix

I just talked to ea support and they are looking into this

My gamertag is TheGOAT270 I’m on Xbox series s 

I'm having the same problem 

We can play squads on EAs COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25

but we can't play on MADDEN 25

We both are on XBOX SERIES S and downloaded the console update today 

and neither of us are seeing a game update available for dl

Both games use EA Servers

Hope the Server Maintenance scheduled for this morning fixes this or MAYBE EA CAN FIGURE IT OUT 

I'm not holding my breath 

Is this still happening ?

yes, EA doesn't care.

ATTENTION ALL!!! New update just dropped for Xbox, and squads works!!!! I apologize to EA. This was a much faster fix than normal!
