Hey All,
For all the PC players: If you downloaded the game on more than one of the following, please uninstall the game from your system completely. Please make sure that you do not have the game installed through any platform.

EpicOnce done, please run through the following to clean out the system"
PC Steps
SpoilerDelete Windows Temp Files
- First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
Optional Registry clean-up
- install CCleaner (it's free) from here
- Run Registry cleaner
- Click review selected issues
- Do you want to back up? No
- Click Fix all selected issues
Once those steps are completed, reinstall the game through the platform that you play on. We want to see if there are any conflicting downloads or files that are causing this error.
- @EA_Shepard Cleared temp folder, ran CCleaner, and reinstalled via steam. Still getting the account restricted message

@EA_ShepardAny updates? Anything you can tell us in terms of when we might get a fix?
Also, I feel like we have been left in the dark here by EA and you have been the only help we’ve gotten. Thanks for trying to help.

@LilSunnyAdrian I took a look into this and what it came down to was having the game installed through multiple platforms, for example, both Steam/EA App or Epic/EA App, etc. The other issue they found was if you had more than one drive and installs were happening more than once and having a conflict.
What we would need if you do not have it installed twice, is that you have removed the game, all files for the game, from the PC.Installed it only through one platform, and when it tries to open or connect to the EA App, any errors.
We have to show that this is happening to players with more than just the above. First players need to completely wipe the game from their system. Then once installed like normal as a fresh new install, if the error happens again, list out everything they did, error they got etc. Then we can send it back over showing this situation didn't apply.
- @EA_Shepard I can confirm that I only have it on one drive and on one platform (EA app). Although, I did order it on steam and refunded the game I never had it downloaded onto a drive.
Might be an issue with the EA app or the EA anticheat. The issue has to be something that is exclusive to Madden 24 that wasn’t implemented in Madden 23/22 because we can easily log in and play those games.
As for my experience with the issue, all I have done is log in and the error message pops up halfway through loading into the main menu. - @EA_Shepard Not sure how to 100% check its not installed twice but here is what i did.
1) Uninstalled Madden
2) Removed any EA/Steam madden related files on all drives
3) Reinstalled Madden on C: drive
4) Launched madden and still received the "Account Restricted" error half way through the loading screen - EA_Shepard2 years ago

@andrew93635 If you have Steam and the EA App, you would just log into each and make sure that both show as uninstalled and not installed and ready to play. Then go into the control panel and make sure you see no installs of the game.
You mentioned installing it on the C drive. Do you have more than one drive like an SSD or 2nd HDD?If you have more than one launcher installed like most of us do, sometimes installing the launcher (Steam/Ea App) on one drive and the games on another can cause a conflict.
- @EA_Shepard Thanks! Confirmed that both platforms show uninstalled and there are no instances of Madden 24 on the control panel. I have my Steam games split across 2 drives (used to be 4 but none are installed on the other 2 as of now). I have tried downloading the game to both the C drive (where the EA app is) and the F drive (where I downloaded the other maddens/most games) but got the same issue.
I am going to try uninstalling the EA app, installing it on my F drive and then reinstalling madden there. - EA_Shepard2 years ago

@andrew93635 Appreciate the information there. These will be some of the questions that get asked so we definitely want to cover all basis that way we can say that they tried ABC and still got the error messages.

edit: i am getting this error from the "OnlineActivation_Log" if it helps
"Could not find the getTableData request function in the loaded library. This only affects Denuvo v2 and has no effect when using a newer version."

Wanted to see if anyone who is still running into this error had any initial billing issues when purchasing the game.

Cheers! - @EA_Shepard Hi Again, there is nothing pending at the moment but I refunded the deluxe preorder version when this error first popped up and then bought the normal version.
@EA_ShepardI originally preordered Madden 24 deluxe edition + limited time bonus on steam and received a refund for the game on Jun 20th. I then repurchased Madden 24 Deluxe Loyalty Edition + limited time bonus on the EA app same day June 20th. No payment errors.
Had no errors purchasing the game,
Still having this error and had no problems/errors purchasing the game

@bcslivka Have you since uninstalled and reinstalled the game itself? Also, if you played the trial, please make sure that is no longer installed as that can conflict with the full game.
Wasn’t fixed during title update? *sigh* another day that my friends continue to play the game while I can’t connect to the servers. Waste of money.
Yes, I completely uninstalled (even searched for any Madden-related files via file explorer) and then reinstalled and am still getting hit with those same error messages.
