Can you provide an update with what EA is doing about these issues? At least an acknowledgment?

Nope, infuriating company. We may need to get a content creator to raise awareness because there has been no acknowledgement of these issues, even in the latest forum/blog post. 

TimTheTatman and Doc were playing the game on stream the other day with no idea that the game wasn't running the way it was supposed to. Doc was complaining about button delay and the Xbox buttons showing instead of the Playstation buttons a ton thinking it was normal for Madden. I would be so embarrassed if I was EA, it's a horrible look. 

Hey man, I know that this seems like its the case but its not. A good amount of people are having this problem with Madden 24 only. CPU getting hammered running it on advanced models. There seems to be an optimization problem from EA. Hoping for a fix soon. 

Any word on this?  Countless posts and threads about this issue and still no update from EA?

Don't think they really care about the pc version. At least last year with Madden 23 when I forced it to use my graphics card, my usage went from 100% to roughly 50%.. This year it stays in the low 90's to 100%.

Yeah, what a mess. I get some memory use on the "real" GPU, but strangely nothing on the integrated and 100% CPU on my IdeaPad.

Somehow yesterday I was able to get something smoother after disabling the integrated video in Device Manager, but that didn't continue today. Noticed that Nvidia had updated the driver, again, just today, but still no love. It neither recognizes Madden 24 as a game nor does it use any GPU.

I set the setting for the Madden 24, Madden 24 trial, and even anticheat .exes to run with the GPU. I saw brief GPU usage during the opening scenes, but 0% again when I actually played.

Hey EA Barry, this problem with the 100% cpu usage is a huge problem that EA needs to fix. It has nothing to do with my motherboard. Every game I play is perfect and smooth but then I play madden and it constantly crashes, huge input lag, plays super slow, and run like * on pc. Everyone who plays on pc right now has this problem whether they realize it or not. Please fix your terrible game. The only reason I play this is because I love football. I wish ANY other company had the rights to NFL football because it would actually be a good game. I can't even play the game because every time I play half way through the game it crashes. I have never had a problem playing a game with my pc until this. Also funny EA Barry how EA is not going to fix this or even acknowledge that this is a problem. I would be shocked if anyone at EA even sees this post on their own * website. Does anyone work at EA? or do you guys just copy and paste the game every year with updated rosters. Where does all the money go that you guys make on it? Oh yea thats right you only spend money on marketing and not on making a good product. Rule #1 of business, product is most important. If you don't have a good product how do you sell it to people? Oh wait you guys just false advertise and lie to people to get them to buy it. Also your the only company with the rights to NFL. So if you wanna play a football game it has to be your garbage game. I hope you guys do something please!!!!! I know you won't but just please!!!!

Hammering my 5800X while my 4080 is basically doing nothing.

What is the solution for this problem? It's very, very poorly optimized.

I've never seen anything so badly optimized.

How were you able to set madden 24 to your gpu? For me it doesn’t give me the option in graphics settings for madden 24 or any other games. 

Come on Barry- you‘re missing the point. With my system, like the others, the CPU is 100% and GPU 2%. The GPU is a new Nvidia 4070. 

The game is not using the graphics card!

What configuration can O chandgt to fix this?

The game is poorly coded. It does NOT properly utilize the GPU and, instead, shifts the burden to the CPU in ALL cases. 

As anyone with any PC knowledge knows, the higher the resolution and game settings, the more the burden is shifted to the GPU in properly coded games.

I game at 4K with a 4080 and have every setting in game at max. The game pegs my 5800X3D and uses a mere fraction of my GPU. (49% usage is the highest ever observed in extensive monitoring.)

Lying about trash coding and treating customers like idiots isn't a solution!

A PROPERLY coded game will utilize 99-100% of the GPU. This is the case with literally EVERY other game in my library.

Dear EA: Fix your garbage coding. Period.

Please stop lying to your customers and blaming them and their PCs for your glaring incompetence.

new update still the game runs in slow-motion randomly... EA FIX THIS GAME WE PAYED FOR! Enough is enough stop ghosting ur customers bc without us there is no madden!!!!

how do we get this to a higher up in EA? so they actually do something! if they had a customer support phone number I bet this game would be fixed... we basically got scammed since the game is not playable for over 3 weeks now
