Re: Superstar Mode Can't Change Gear/Appearance

Yes, it's been 2 weeks and nothing has changed. Still unable to change gear in Superstar mode for both existing and new players created, regardless of position.

Basically just an empty screen with the tabs above. unable to edit anything. It happened right after the last title update on Dec 6.

For me this bug happens on new and existing superstars, and it happens on every position I create and there is no way around the glitch

(my glitch is on the Xbox series X) 

Hey EA its been weeks already, how come we still experience the same problems. 

1. Not only can we NOT change gear, we cannot edit the avatar's appearance and animations as well.

2. Whenever I load my existing superstar it says that saved file could not be located which is BS IMHO. In a way it forced me to create a new superstar and delete my old file resulting to losing all my progress which is frustrating in itself as i am back to a 73 OVR.

3. Doesnt matter what the position is, trust me i tried all of the positions but i am currently playing the WR pos

4. No you cannot edit from other positions like edit my superstar. I cannot access superstar showdown because i stopped my ps plus subscription. I've tried to work around all menus other than the career to no avail. 

5. The problem is simple i've shared the screen shot a lot of times already. I think more than 5x.

Sequence is superstar-career save file-career-edit superstar (i also tried upgrade superstar-edit avatar)

Or (superstar-career save file-edit my superstar) and also upgrade superstar - edit avatar.

6. I've already deleted all saved files repeatedly. I also tried deleting the game and downloaded it again several times. I've given up and just stop playing it's so disappointing.

Yea EA has a very bad team for Madden. I mean the bug occurred due to the patch they rushed, and then they just ran off with no fix for weeks, just asking redundant questions. They just don't care obviously. In contrast 2K has been very responsive and helpful when facing any bugs, and they provide actual fixes and solutions. Hope they start taking over production of NFL video games. EA doesn't deserve these rights at all.

Have you tried editing the appearance in any other places besides Solo Franchise? Have you tried editing it from My Superstar > Edit My Superstar to see if you run into the same issue there? 

goodness. Obviously tried and you can read above others facing the same problem have tried too. it doesnt work. same thing just tabs without the options to edit.

please stop asking redundant questions as if it's gonna help at all. the bug obviously occurred due to the last title update patch on 6 December, hence that team should be held accountable and provide the fix in a patch asap now. Stop asking stupid questions and pretending like it's gonna solve anything. We didn't pay money for this game and the in game content just to be treated like fools. Just patch and fix it thanks.

Yes we can't change it at all the only thing I guess you can do is come with an update that can fix it, uninstalling, deleting or fixing ps5/xbox will not fix the problem I guarantee you this is something ea just has to fix

I’m having the exact same issue on ps5, started a new career in superstar and can’t edit anything

This is ridiculous EA, got this game as a gift and all I play is superstar… spent some coins in gear and can’t even use it on the game because it just loads a random a** terrible gear on my player … FIX THIS! This is clearly an issue for so many players across all consoles and all positions…. you can’t be more incompetent 

Everywhere you go to try and edit your superstar it doesn’t work and shows zero options. It’s a game wide bug that needs to be fixed 

Any luck on this yet? I'm in the same boat tried every possible way and still can't edit my guy

I’m just confused, it isn’t working in terms of allowing me to change my superstars gear. It has a blank screen, and I’m getting really annoyed.

Crazy that it has been more than 1 month and you lazy devs can’t figure this out. WE SHOULD ALL COLLECTIVELY START SPAMMING THEIR SOCIALS FOR A REFUND. This is unbelievable 

Existing superstar , main player is a WR but problem occurs with all my players , no can’t gain access to anything via showdown mode or my league
