Re: Madden 23 cpu 100% usage

Hello @yyyrzou ! Please attempt and follow these, go to your documents then edit the settings, ini file in Documents/Madden23 and change DirectX_Select to 1. Save settings. ini file
Also go to nvidia panel, 3d settings, program settings add Madden 23 if it's not in your programs yet and turn v-sync to adaptive. Also the option for framerate, use highest frame rate possible. I hope this will solve your problem! Have a good game!

OMG!!!!Thank you so much for your answer, you just made my day! It works! I really works! I did add madden 23 in nvidia panel before i turn this problem here, but i turn the v-sync off in the panel. So I tried your way, open madden 23 and turn v-sync then it works! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @WFD-DANIK I can't find the ini file in documents, only a dat file. Game is silky smooth then randomly spikes to 75-90% CPU usage and I have to wait for the game to catch up. Completely ruins online play ☹️

Any suggestions or alternative locations for file?

    Build:
    Intel Core i9 9900K @ 3.60GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (MSI)
    16G RAM

ı had a trouble with ea ap , when ı try to upload my fifa 23 its giving feedback at task manager 100% disk usage . And ı cant uploading my game. İts not happening at ingame its happening at ea app.

  • I did! The issue was my cpu was triggering a thermal limit which is why it would randomly take a sh$t.
I ended up using a program called throttle stop and watched a youtube video on how to configure it. Easy peasy.
Fixed the issue with multiple games. Basically your CPU is hitting a high enough heat that it freaks out and locks down your entire system. It was well within the temperature but because the cpu hit the limit, nothing would run past that point.

Google throttle stop and search your cpu's undervolt settings for easy config. It's nothing that'll harm your pc - other option is you invest in a baller liquid cooler for your CPU, but if you're like me and just want to address it now, that'll work.
