- @charmike2013 I already tried that. It's not hard, but it still didn't work.

Normally, those unknown hosts aren't an issue. That just means the server doesn't allow pings. Can you send me a private message with your UO Trace? I'll take a look.

Thank you for all the reports, everyone. I've passed this information on to the appropriate teams here so it can be looked into on our side. As soon as I have new information, I'll post an update.
- @EA_Aljo Thank you!

You're very welcome. I don't know when I'll have an update, but will respond when I do.
- @EA_Aljo It's been a week...any news? Thanks!

I'm very sorry, but I don't have an update on this. I really don't know when that will happen, but should I hear back, I'll update this thread.
I'm also experiencing the same issues
Any solutions found ????
I'm starting to feel like EA is just going to make an announcement in a month that Madden 17 is no longer supported.
Also have not been able to load my Connected Franchise for 3 weeks. I'm on Xbox One.
Get an error when continuing that says EA servers are not available at this time. If I try to load from the cloud option, it freezes on loading message.
- @EA_Aljo Do you have any update at all? Is Madden 17 no longer being supported? I wish EA would just come out and tell us if that's the case.
Do you have any news?
As per your website (https://help.ea.com/ca/madden/madden-2017/) server status is DOWN.
How can be? Server is down and EA staff it is not sure?

Madden NFL 17 servers are still available and we're having some difficulties identifying what's causing this for these small impacted amount of players. If I may ask, do you have any router extenders in your household?
I'm under the impression connection to the servers doesn't work on a different Gamertag as well?Do you use a custom Gamertag pic for your Xbox profile?
Thank you for your answer and for your tips.
Currently I am playing on a PlayStation 4.
In my network nothing has changed since the last 12 months (same ISP, connection, cable, etc.) Also I am able to play any other game online, except Madden.
EA has probably "shut down" the servers to force people to buy madden 2021 (which is not very popular among users).

There are currently players online, so servers haven't been shut down. A list of what online services for games that have been shut down can be found here: https://www.ea.com/service-updates
Do you happen to have an EA Play membership? I'm wondering if you're able to connect to other Madden titles to narrow down if it's specific to Madden 17.
As I wrote I am playing on a ps4.
As mentioned, regarding the connection or subscriptions, nothing has changed on my part.
About subscriptions: I have this EA account that I signed up with in the game. The only other Madden Titles I got it is Madden 15, should I try that one?

@Joeiverson Online services for Madden NFL 15 have been shut down.

Have you reached out to our Support team on Twitter yet (EA Help) to see if they're able to identify if there is a reason you're not able to connect to those servers via the account side? Problem solved.
I applied the "minecraft" solution (which I usually apply when Minecraft fails to connect to the server after an update).
Step 1: Shut down my PlayStation and then turn on (not just restart)
Step 2: delete Madden 2017 (only the game, not the save data!)
Step 3: insert the dvd of Madden and download latest update
Step 4: Start Madden and..... Problem solved!
Thank you!

@Joeiverson
Excited to hear that!!! Thank you very much for coming back to share what worked for you so others here can try it.
Can anyone else confirm this works?
For power cycling (not just a restart) try these steps:How to power cycle your PS4 console
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply
- @EA_Blueberry I just tried what @Joeiverson did. Didn't see anything in there about a power cycle so I didn't do that but it still didn't work. Even after uninstalling the game, powering off my PS4, and reinstalling the game, it still says I can't connect to servers. Many are having this problem.
It is really important that you shut down the PlayStation (even holding the PS button on joypad then selecting option: turn off) then turn on the PlayStation (again with PS button on joypad).
It sounds "stupid", but if you do not turn off/on and just restart it will continue to do not connect even after re install (it happens to me with Minecraft and Madden).
@EA_Blueberry I tried it a second time, and it sort of worked, but then it didn't work. I was able to open my franchise and get in to the menus, but got the same error message repeatedly. Then I turned my PS4 off and turned it back on and went into the game. Once again, I get the same error message that I can't connect to the EA servers and now I cannot log into my franchise.

@BareassBabooN Can you try removing the internet network you have linked to your console and re-add it? Visit our Help site at Help.EA.com and reset your password. Then load the game back up. I've seen this trick work before.
It seems like this is connected somehow to the console/network. - @EA_Blueberry I'm not sure what you mean. My PS4 is connected via Ethernet to a modem. I remember resetting my EA password once before and it didn't fix the issue.

@BareassBabooN I implied removing the actual network login you have on your console and re-add it. Do you have a WiFi connection you can log into to see if it connects wirelessly?
Have you tried a different DNS? We see players successfully login to our servers when switching DNS providers. It may work for some and not all. We have a variety of steps in this article below:
