I am having the same problem with the xbox one controller. able to move around in the game main menu but when game open up, the controller do nothing?

Disconnecting the controller (removing the battery) once you click ME1 in the launcher and then reconnecting the controller (insert the battery) once ME1 is on the start menu solves the problem

It does not change for me. It randomly worked once for me in ME1 but now it does not work at all after the launcher goes into the game.

Have you been able to fix your issue? I can not get my controller to work at all with the game. And I have tried all the Steam work arounds, contacted EA support too.

Honestly, IDK what else to try.
