When trying to start the game it is now wanting an activation key. When you hit the button for it to retreated it. It doesn't seem to find it. I did find a fix on reddit that had me move the file where all the keys are kept to the desktop and then restart the game. That seemed to work. No sure how but it did. The problem will be now if I ever lose the file. I have read where this has happened to others after EA did an update to the game library.

Great to hear that you got it sorted @Lootzismine.
If it happens again then what can be done depends on where you purchased the game.
Darko The moving it to license folder to the desktop is the one I did.

I cannot find the license folder to move it.
PC using EA app. Purchased through Origin because that is where I directed to login as a different user if I want.

Tried redownloading the game. Same error, asking for product key. Will not go online to allow me to enter the key. The error message mentions Origin.
- Close EA app and Steam completely. (not just minimized in the tray.)
- Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Enter or copy and paste:
"%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (Without the quotes) into the Run dialog box > hit ENTER. - Delete the "License" folder.
