The paramour 2 achievement won't unlock on me3 either

I got a question. Does romance in Liar of the shadow broker count for this achievment? I'm about to start a ME2 and i need to know
I was just about to post about Paramour II not unlocking for Liara in ME2. I've just finished the Shadow Broker DLC and we had a moment in the captains quarters. But nothing unlocked after she left. She was my LI in ME1 and had planned to carry it through to ME3.
Not sure if there is something further that is required, if it only unlocks at the end of the game or is simply broken.
Forgot to mention, playing on Steam.

Hey, sorry to @ you directly, but I'd like to also mention that this is the same with the Insanity run, which is far more problematic imo. That's a whole game's work on the hardest difficulty going to waste. There's a topic on it here, please address it when you have time.

I have completed ME1 yesterday, got the achievement - but it is evident right at the beginning of ME2 based on the achievement menu, that it does not detect this completion.
Please also check that this gets fixed in ME3 as well, should it be problematic there - I have not played that episode.
So I just finished ME2 and I got the Insanity II achievement.
I didn't however get Paramour II. So perhaps hooking up with Liara again during Shadow Broker questline doesn't count? I'm starting to think that you actually have to start a new romance to get this one. Seeing as your only option to possibly rekindle is Liara, is perhaps the achievement simply worded badly?
Not working for me either. I romanced Liara in 1 and Miranda in 2 and it's not popping. If I reload my save and go look at captain quarters trophies it shows credit for paramour 1 but not 2. I already have paramour 1 from ME1.
Do you know if it will reto activate after the patch if we keep playing through the story or if we'll have to play the whole game over again.
I'd like to know this too. Was trying to go for a full trophy run and this not unlocking is a real bummer...
If Insanity 2 also doesn't unlock and I have to redo it.... 🙄

Ok, so just continued the relationship with Liara from ME1 in ME3 (as in 'Locked In' the romance), and suddenly Paramour II pops up. Clearly the LotSB moments don't count for Liara's romance it seems.
I guess I would have needed to romance someone else on ME2. Oh well.
So not only did I not get the paramour ii trophy on ps5 for rekindling my romance with Liara, upon importing my character to ME3, it says I didn't romance anyone in ME2, which I'm worried will bug the whole romance with Liara, so I hope this gets fixed soon so I can safely import my character and get on to ME3
Community ManagerJust finished on ME 2 insanity….no insanity 2. I weirdly got paramour 2 cause i did a normal second play through of ME 1 as soon as i finished my first on insanity (I got insanity 1 achievement no problem). I imported my ME 1 career into ME 2 and started my insanity playthrough before the patch. Just finished it last night on Xbox series S but used cloud saves on and off to play on my xbox one x in my bedroom. I noticed that the save files would reset time going between consoles. (My first stretch was about 13 hours, i swapped to xbox one and it reset to minutes of play 45 min about, swapped back to my front room and the save reset the time played again. Only happens on ME 2 so far) finished my insanity playthrough and got nothing. You have mentioned the paramour bug a couple of times saying its going to be fixed at somepoint, but is the insanity 2 - 3 being fixed also? And will it require a new playthrough? Cause if it does there is no point in me finishing ME 3 on insanity right now is there? Any answers?

I’ve played Mass Effect 1,2 and 3 when they originally came out and I had no problems with unlocking Paramour 1,2 and 3 with Liara. So in the legendary am doing everything the same am and I have all the scenes but no achievement. Am playing on Xbox one and I did notice that when I started Mass Effect 3 it did say no romance with Liara, but his room does have her picture. In other words am so confused…is there an issue with Paramour 3, not being able to unlock?
I would really appreciate your help and thank you for reading.

Did you romance her in ME1? Because it should if you did and haven’t flirted with anyone else. At least that’s how it worked back with the original games came out.

If you romance Liara only Liara yes.During ME1,2 and 3. But if you romance anyone else, she considers it cheating on her. At least that’s how it was in the original release of the 3 games.

@EA_MakoHello MAKO, long time no see on accord I stopped coming back. It still baffles me that Bioware not only removed the Rekindling option from her in ME2LE rater than incorporating it into the regular Paramour requirements (as well programing completing the LOTSB DLC unlocked Stasis) and not rework the parameters for the romances to work perfectly well post Collectors Base as in the originals but alas, Bioware gonna be Bioware and while it is your job to keep a civil tone here many of us feel shorthanded.
This is on top Ashley Williams character still being butchered in ME3 as well that both A/K don't have a scene beyond Horizon to clear things up.
