Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

are you still getting errors ?
I'm still working on it.
just saving households and houses, Lots so when i do a new save i'll have everything ready.
that's what i've been doing with my weeks.
i know that i might need to delete my old saves
i haven't put back my game mods and traits folders in yet
sorry if i went quiet

The easiest is to backup your whole user folder then rename and just try on a fresh vanilla game.
All your houses and Sims will still be in the backup folder.I understand though that you wanna be on the safe side though.
Oh no it got worse my sims won't start up.
i press play on origin but seconds later it close on it's own.
no window no start up

That looks fine.
Did you start putting your files back or is this still on the new folder ?
I was putting back my mods in the new folder then testing game to see if i still kept getting last Exception but now my game won't start up

Hi @MorganAddams
Definitely what you have in the mods folder harms the game, Sometimes it's not enough to download the new version of mod, if part of the animation after the patch is out of date. You should again remove the mods folder on your desktop, fix the game on Origin, and then you should check all the mods one by one, But first check if the game will work without these animations only with this modem itself.
I don't work for EA . I'm only player who tries to help other players. Ok i found the mods that stop the game for starting up. move them to some where else.
now i'm waiting on the Last Exception file so i can continue on my real problem here
After removing the mods from your game did you delete the game cache and the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder to help with troubleshooting.
How to Delete Cache Files
https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/yes already did that it back to normal.
but i still need help with getting rid of Last Exceptions
that is my main problem......
Have you tried saving the game with Save As. That's what's help me when I got "hit" with that error. After deleting the outdated mods and cc, game cache and and the localthumbcache.package.

Are you still getting the same error ?
Best to delete all lastexceptions let the game create a current one.
Do you have any cc aspirations and traits in your game ? If so, leave those out.
