Re: Genesis dlc not working

@drumman576

In a neutral game aka game without a import from ME1 it is always Liara who will be in the intro.

If you imported a character from ME1 Genesis will not fire up at all.

If you want to change decisions from Mass Effect in Mass Effect 2 you either do that entirely in Genesis.That means you don't import a character at all and make all the decisions in the comic, or you use a save game editor. That's only possible if you're on a PC (easy) or a Xbox. (more complicated)

    Mine is not working wither. And it never shows up after normandy attack.
  • Playing on PC, Origin, and with no import, it starts with Ashley in the beginning and no Genesis... so explain that...

    Either the save game you're trying to import contains falsely set flags or the save game is corrupted or the DLC is not properly installed.

    Start ME1 from your last save point before the end and finish the game again > Test.

    Note to self, read properly before you answer.

    The explanation is easy, I was just wrong as I said that it will be always Liara in the intro sequence in a new game.

    Liara will be there if you import a ME1 game in which you did not choose a love interest, (or Liara as love interest) if you start a new ME2 game without importing, the person in the intro depends on your Shepard's gender, Ashly for male Shepard and Kaidan for Femshep.
