OK, thanks.
I assume this is about LE1.
Do you have enough space on the drive your "Documents" folder is on?
If yes, try to run the game as Administrator.
- Go to your ">Drive<:Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\Binaries\Win64\" folder.
- Right click the "MassEffect1.exe" > Run as Administrator.
- Test.
- @holger1405 I have the game on Steam so the path to the game is a little different. Although this solution has not helped me
Good to know. 😉
Is there a "Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder in your "Documents\Bioware" folder? (Full path "C:\Users\>your user name<\Documents\Bioware")
If yes could you proved a screenshot of the content of the "Mass Effect Legendary Edition" folder?
If there is a "Save" folder, what content has this folder?
Yes, there is.
So your character name is like your user name.
Please try with a new default character. (John)
- @holger1405 should I create a new game for that? or just rename the folder
- @holger1405 Will there be a problem loading my older save?
No, you can have many different characters at the same time.
Just make sure the character file is named as before.
- @holger1405 Gotcha. Will be trying that out next thing tomorrow and gonna let you know how that goes!
- @holger1405 I have created a new game save but the issue is still the same
Same problem except i'm using the desktop app, any ideas? Tried running as admin, allowing it through controlled access and added to my origin account but nothing. Still says the same error.. what ever happened to simply load, play and save lol
