@SSgt_Engee As there are multiple issues with achievements happening, the are looking into different issues. As of now I am not seeing an update past the last one where they asked for players to provide more info to them as was posted on a previous update between the two issues.

Well, can you give us an update on how fixing this issue is going?

@Jcjonesacp76 I took a look this morning. There has not yet been an update on a fix for it. They are still reviewing error report ids and are asking for more. Since not all reasons for each player are the same, they need to review more accounts with the Error Report ID Here for those that have not provided one. I understand that this has been going on for a while. I have been able to reproduce it and I wanted to start a new playthrough over the weekend as well, so I added my own account to it.

ok, maybe everyone  have a littel diffrent problem, but for all problems fix is the same: "EA app in offline mode/turn off internet conection" to stop update from cloud game profile

I'm sorry but if there is a solution, then how hard is to implemented it? it's simple thing to do, delete broken ga,e profile or let replace it for players which start using offline method after inform them that they can run EA app with internet conection

This method works fine for achievements like "do this 25 times" or "get that 15 times" and stuff.
But it doesn't work for the insanity achievements (and Paramour probably as well)
I guess EA App has to check whether you already unlocked one of these achievements in order to get the next one. Since you are offline, the App can't register that.

I played through ME2 Insanity TWICE now and didn't get Insanity 2... 

For some reason everything was okay in ME1, thus I got Insanity 1 there.

Exactly, how can you expect me to believe they're doing anything about it when everyone knows what the problem is and they have nothing to show for it after 6 months. Oh you can reproduce my error? it isn't difficult to do all you have to do is open the game on a new account and see the achievements are borked. I'm still running origin in offline mode in order to do mine but EA keeps making it harder to prevent updating to their ruinous new app so its a race to the finish for me between not being able to run origin anymore, me finishing my achievements, and EA actually fixing a problem in the app they forced everyone to move to.

It really is annoying to have such an issue last for so long, and all we get in response is a smack in the face

Yep, it seems my Gamer account be damaged because after Origin it runs nothing really right. Even my ME Andromeda Game is not able to earn achievment anymore?!?.

I unlocked Insanity II and III and Paramour II using the offline mode solution.

That´s good but don´t work for me, i figure out that not even one game have working achievments?!?. I just download via EA-Play the game "Conan Chop Chop" on PC and make the tutorial done in the game but no Achievment. Offline Mode don´t works with the game if i try this in offline i only had a black screen. ME-Andromeda works offline but no Achievments anyway and i need the Internetmode in the game to complete the Achievmentlist. 

the fix for it is to just give us back the ability to use Origin, and stop trying to shove the EA App that no one wants or asked for down our throats. I have been using a workaround to still get Origin just so I can get my achievements and avoid the other issues with the EA app in general, and it worked as of late last night, but now today I can no longer get past it, I just get a "use EA App" message. 

We all know the fix here, it's to let us use the launcher that already worked just fine lmao. I really truly don't understand why EA feels the need to force us to use the EA app on a 100% singleplayer game no less. 

And I'm with the others on this, this is an issue that has been happening WAY too long, you guys don't really seem to be doing anything at all to fix it.

I understand we want to use Origin because it worked for players. However, the bottom line with this is that it isn't going to happen. The Origin client is going away and the EA App is now what is being used, so focusing on Origin being the solution is not going to be the solution. What we need to do is focus on what we can do, and what has and has not worked so we can get that info over to the team. 

This is still an issue that they are working on, I track this daily and monitor updates. As of now, there has not yet been an update on a resolution so when there is one, we will post that info for everyone.

@EA_Shepard that awsome news. In that case I will wait with buying Dragon Age 4 or any other game with achivments until problem will be solved... with your speed probably at Mass Efect 9 and Dragon Age 12

@dannyoverwrought You are welcome. I watch these and quite a few other BioWare games and issues. I mean EA_Shepard right? I love these games and played Mass Effect for quite a while and still do. I started a new playthrough over the weekend. But you are right, there are many games to play at the moment.

@CompLadee No one said for you or anyone to go kick rocks and cope. The bottom line is and has been that this isn't just a simple game bug as this happens on multiple platforms which makes it more complicated than just going in and fixing it. I understand this entire situation is frustrating and players want their achievements and to start new playthroughs. Almost every game I play regardless of platform I try to 100% because I love working towards those achievements because it makes me feel like I accomplished something and had fun doing it.

These situations can and usually do take time to resolve. Some longer than others but this issue has not been pushed aside or closed out in any way. I watch these issues daily because I am a gamer, I love Mass Effect and still play it.

This has been a known problem for YEARS, yet a company the size of EA can't fix it? Far more likely they simply don't care and won't fix it, meanwhile expending resources time and time again to force players to switch to a buggy program, rather than just fixing the buggy program and having players happily migrate over.

Ok, is it possible to call how long is it going to take?

EA needs 50,000 more micro transactions to continue paying the Support team Kappa maybe that will help, I also like that Shepard says that the issue isnt being forgotten or pushed aside...Which feels to mean. Its one man at a desk with 17 empty redbull cans laying around his cubical. I understand that it takes time to find a problem. But this thread was started in 2022 of april. It been almost a year and a half. The community isnt asking for a new game. They are asking for a patch or update to the game. Given the time passed and the lack of information given by a validated EA member. I can only assume that this issue is at the bottom of the list of all EA projects. Leave it to EA to destroy a Bioware Game and leave its community in Darkness. 

If that’s a problem for years than I wonder how I got all my achievements for all the games and the EA App is just a few months old… Then its “just an Achievement” problem so they have a few people working on it tops which is understandable for a game which is a few years old. Is it annoying? Yes of course but its not the end of the world.

@sleepy_cupcakeGood for you man, i wish i could say this to. All this thing starts after EA-App was released, i was in the middle of playing ME-Legendary Edition to complete the Achievments, suddenly it´s don´t work on the most unexpected time, because i try to complete everything.
After a long break, i buy a new pc with same OS but newer, installed EA-App and ME-Andromeda and find out that the problem with the achievments are also up to date. Load some other games to look about the achievments and it seems not working and hope that a fix come true as fast as possible. I try it with the game Conan Chop Chop make the tutorial a few times but no pop up and in the menu is it not there. It´s frustrating when you play hard difficult parts in a game and you don´t became the confirmation. And Gamers find out workarounds where the Achievments work again and what make EA? They updated their Plattforms and stops player immediatly to play and earn their achievments?!?. It´s a double Gotcha!!! for the Gamer/Players/Fans their forced to use the newer updated one but don´t have the possiblity to play normaly?!?.

Based on what ive seen. And what you are saying, I think I got a theory what the base of this problem is.

This might... Just might be a VERY broken attempt to implement an anti-cheating system to prevent people from editing their savefiles to unlock the archivements that way in an easy manner.

The reason for this is the behavior multiple people i've seen have reported.

The problem started after the new EA APP got pushed down to people.

And some people have figured that everytime the EA app launches the game, it will replace/download specific savefiles in those games suffering from this problem. This being "game progression" trackers. Like the "gamerprofile" files in the savedata for the mass effect games. The files themselves contain progression data such as archivements unlocked.

What appears to happen is that everytime you boot the game (without workarounds to prevent it) the EA app will download a broken version of these savefiles. Some that either dont work, or which has all archievements completed allready (which can on its own be a result of the game reading a broken file).

I think the reason the EA app does this in the first place is some broken attempt to implement a system to make sure people aren't cheating to get them all unlocked. By forcing the EA app to have full control over these files in particular. But the system was never properly tested or completed. And has a broken cloud system. Due to this it breaks these games it is enabled for. I wonder if the reason this problem is taking so loooong to fix is because the various teams at EA forgot about this. And dont get enough time/attention to discover that this is the problem.

I love having to check back in to figure out if this old problem was fixed, and I am glad to see it isn't (Note sarcasm) seriously is it so hard to give us a road map, progress update, something that shows us you actually give a crap and are working on it? We don't have a lot of faith in EA, provide us with something to show us you care or are working on it.
