Problem starting ME Legends on both Steam and Origin

Question

Long drawn out story sorry....Mass Effect Legendary series:1. Try to play using Steam - about 5-6 seconds after it starts loading (displays Game Running) it goes back to Play. Tried to launch game more than once and still get the same thing happening.Went to Steam discussions for the Game and tried to do what was mentioned there about clearing the download cache. Steam restarts successfully but problem stil exists.Another suggestion on Steam discussions was to launch the game directly from Origin.2. Went to Origin (outwith Steam) and selected Game Library and tried to run ME Legends. Screen with Play button comes up - click on Play and a few seconds later the Play button is greyed out and then Origin throws me back to my Home page.Tried this several times with the same results - hoping you might have a cure - thanks in advance

Did the game worked before?

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that&nbsp; with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.&nbsp;

Yes, that is exactly right.

There is a access violation error about Mass Effect 3 in the DxDiag, but if I get you right the problem is the same in all games?
The launcher works flawless?
Did the games run before?
Do you use any Mods?
