This is an EA board, nobody her can provide you with a way to circumvent EAs launcher. 🙃
(And if someone would try it would be deleted.)
For the problem itself, if I get you right the game is running as it should be it just stays in the background if you launce from big picture, is that right?
If so you can not just ALT / Tab to the game?
