Have you had any news? I've had the same problem and got the e-mail from ToS 10 of March, but I still haven't got any solution or explanation.

    @EA_Aljo

    Why is your answer marked as "accepted solution"? I am the starter of this thread so i would think that i am the only person who can accept an answer as solution...

    I am not here to asking for a solution, i know that this can only be done by tos. But i want to inform the community and also you guys from @EA that @EA is banning people for no reasons and are not really bothered to sort it out in an acceptable time.

    @dennisamorim

    i answered also in your thread to my current status. 😉

    i was banned for no reason at 03-06. on the same day i objected to the ban, received an email from @ea tos at 03-11 that they will investigate the matter. since then nothing...the email that should inform me about the ban i also never got.

    @satfreaktom264

    I accepted my response as the solution because it is the solution to your issue. The only way to get help with a banned account is to follow the instructions in the link I provided.

  • yesterday i received an email from @ea:

    Hi!

    we recently notified you of a sanction on your EA account.
    After a further review, this sanction was removed.
    What that means The previous sanction on your EA account has been lifted. Many Thanks! EA Terms of Use

     no explanation, no apology

    what is with all the content/rewards that i missed in this 3 weeks? solo battle rewards, daily rewards, ul tokens, mut heroes badges,...what do you guys from @ea think about making amends for people who were wrongly banned?

    Youre very lucky. I was banned from mut on March 5th and havent heard from the ToS at all. I did get 3 emails the day I was banned and it was just a bunch of gibberish about cheating which I never did,

    I read through EA terms of service and saw a provision for conflict resolution using arbitration. I followed the directions, sent a letter of dispute to the address listed in the ToS (certified mail) informing them of my desire to settle this dispute through arbitration. Havent heard anything back from the legal department at all. Called the Arbitration Association listed in the TOS and was informed if I wanted to file for arbitration it would be a 200$ filing fee. Pretty sure my letter got discarded in a trash can somewhere and they are just running out the clock and my patience and prefer not to deal with my issue.

    Great customer service EA !

    I congratulate on getting your ban lifted. Get in there and get that MUT Hero stuff done, it's the best promotion of the year without question. I was able to rebuild my banned team simply from running farm accounts and funneling items to main account

  • I wasnt running farm accounts before i Got banned for no reason but since i was banned I had no choice but to use this method to rebuild the team that was stolen from me. I'm back up to a 98 overall team and hopefully wont be banned for no reason.

    Maybe EA shouldnt worry so much about farm accounts and worry a little more about not alienating customers who have been buying their games since 1992.

    I was banned on March 5th, have filed multiple appeals and have heard nothing. What would you have me do? Rebuilding my 98 overall team without farm accounts would have taken me until June.

    I'm so glad the company I work for has ethics and morals and would never treat a customer in this way

  • I got banned for simply playing the game without an explanation. What exactly do I have to lose at this point? I read your ToS, followed it to the letter. I sent a certified letter to your legal department with the heading "Notice of Dispute" detailing that I would like arbitration/mediation with EA regarding getting my account unbanned. EA requires all disputes are settled by arbitration so of course when I called the arbitrators I was informed there was a 200$ filing fee that I was responsible for. EA can feel confident offering to pay for arbitration and mediation when nobody is going to pay 200$ just to get the ball rolling.

    @airraidassassinI think I can understand you. my brother's account got recently banned although my brother did not even use it for a few years. a month ago he bought Battlefield V via Steam in order to play with my other brother and my cousin. he linked the newly bought game to his Origin account (which he did not use for years) and before he was able to start the game for the first time, he got banned.

    in addition, the response from EA's ToS team was ... not helpful, at first. the first response seemed to be a standard one (i.e. "your account has correctly been banned") without providing any reason why. two weeks later, my brother received another email and was asked whether the issue is still there (well, of course it was. not really a helpful response to calm down the anger). after responding, my brother received another email: "the team is investigating the case", but nothing more for two more weeks. my brother then asked another time, what the reason was for his ban. and this time, he got informed that the ban was unjustified and his ban got lifted. no apology, no explanation of how it happened, nothing...

    why do I write this? I don't want to support you breaking the rules just because you were treated unfairly. certainly I don't want you encouraging others to do so. however, I think EA's policy regarding bans should really be reconsidered. it can't be that in case of doubt the player has to prove that (s)he did something wrong. Especially since the player is the one who pays to be allowed to play the game. and besides, the game lacks any information about the rules (in-game), what is allowed and what is not.

    In this sense, I would like to support your feedback to EA, but not approve of your behavior of breaking the rules!

    after my ban was lifted i reopened my case and wrote a message to tos that i think that i deserve a "make-right" for this wrongly ban. i see that my case was updated yesterday and again today from the tos team. but i still didnt get any mail that informs me what is going on right now. and of course i still have no information about the original reason for my ban. what is so complicate to say: "ok, we made a mistake. sorry for that.

    here is the final answer from tos after i had ask for a makeright for the missing 3 weeks because of the wrongly ban:

    "Hello,

    we have received your request regarding the sanctions against your account.

    Following an in-depth investigation of your account and your complaint, we regret to re-inform you that your case was handled correctly and in full accordance with our policies and procedures. A violation of our terms of use has rightly been found in your account.

    Due to the above reasons, we will not remove the sanctions imposed from your account.

    You can find our terms of use at the following address: http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/de/PC/ Now that we have carried out two extensive inquiries into your complaint, we consider this matter closed.

    Many Thanks!

    EA Terms of Use"

    If the ban is right why was it taken away after 3 weeks?

    If the ban is right why im still unbanned?

    Why can tos still not tell me what I was supposed to have done wrong?

    If something like this happen again i will talk to microsoft and let them remove ea play from my game pass ultimate and @EA loses another longyear costumer.
