I agree. It's excessive and extremely uncomfortable. I had to look away during this scene and rushed through it. It definitely wasn't like this in the original release.

There was some discussion about this closer to launch. Unfortunately, BioWare has kind of ignored a lot of issues and has done barely any post-release patching. The chance of an official fix are slim.

For the PC version there's an unofficial fix on the Nexus Mods website. Forum rules say I can't link to third party sites like Nexus Mods here, but I'll see if I can put in the sticky thread with recommended mods.

Update: The mod is  "Less Intense Vigil" by HenBagle. I added it to the sticky.
