I get a missing road and if I drive on to it I get stuck for all eternity and the only to fix it is force close with the task manager.

Me too, it's really annoying and I don't know what to do.
Try deleting and reinstalling the Game and just use the x86(32bit) version. This worked for me!

That's unfortunate.
Have you tried @Bananen_Haendler 's solution? It seems to be the accepted answer for the problem. I haven't tried it myself, but I would recommend trying to run the game using the 32-bit launcher (I assume there is one, since I currently don't have the game installed, so I can't check.).
