can't have baby at hospital

For some reason, I can't seem to get my sim to give birth at the hospital at all. All she does is wait and talks to the doctors but, nothing happens. I was able to give birth to my first child in the hospital just fine, but the second baby is being an issue. I can give birth at home but, I rather have the birth happen in the hospital. I don't have any mods at all. I used to but, I got rid of them because I thought that was the reason my game was being glitchy. So why am I having problems having a baby in the hospital in the Sims 4? Is anyone else having this problem?
