Re: Career: Tech Guru, Daily task not finishing

@Rosyliaa If you just keep going, does it finish at one point although not showing progress ? How long have you sat on the task ?

    Hello, thank you for your reply. That's the thing I can't even know if it finish at some point because it is just stuck at 'Not started' no matter how many hours I spend on the task, like I can spend the whole day/night and it stays that way, also I'am doing the challenge and it is asking me to finish the daily task, so even if I spend hours doing the task even that mission will stay unchecked, also performance is moving really really slowly so I assume it isn't even counting that the daily task is finished so it might be not only a visual bug but the whole daily task simply not working.

    @Rosyliaa That's def to long. Sometimes the progress just doesn't show but then it's suddenly done which is why I'm asking

    @PipMenace First it was to play Video games, and now I simply have "Programming", and I tried all games and all programming options just in case

    @Rosyliaa Did a short test and it's completing fine for me.

    Do you have issues in other careers too ?

    @crinrict I honestly haven't tried yet... short story.... I started playing the sims 4 sometime ago and I directly started with a scenario "Nouvel", then everything worked perfectly, then after sometime I reinstalled my windows and somehow lost saves, so now I'am restarting fresh again and decided to go with a different scenario,yet sadly the daily task isn't working and now in the scenario I'am stuck at "Finish the daily task" :/ isn't there like a cheat or something to get it done ?

    @Rosyliaa What scenario are you playing ? Maybe it's connected to that.

    Can you try if it works without the scenario ? Would be good for troubleshooting and finding out what's going on in your save.

    @crinrictI have just tried it and it works well without the scenario! though I'am still having the issue with the scenario ( if I leave the career and rejoin would that create any more issues, or maybe it would reset it or something ? ) and it is Stuck in their Shadows scenario

    @Rosyliaa Thanks for testing that. Probably a scenario issue then.

    Save your game under a new name, then try rejoining the career. You'll loose a level but you can cheat that back up (not sure what effect that has on the scenario though)

    Problem solved! apparently I only needed to rejoin the career but I was scared to do that in the scenario, thank you so much for being here and for all the propositions and help!
