Re: Connection Issues

Hi @MikeFid,

Having to port forward is determined by the security settings of either your home network or your ISP. It is not something we have influence over, I am sorry. We can only provide the ports that our games use.

I would like to add that port forwarding is a fairly common occurrence, especially with console gaming. Because different games use different ports, it is not always needed to change anything. I hope this further clarifies to you why port forwarding is done.

    Hi Tom,

I appreciate that but I've never had to port forward a game before in my life. Not even for Rivals. It cannot be expected of consumers to change technical settings of a router in order to play a game. As stated, I have not needed to do this for Destiny where I join Fireteams while in a playstation party operating in an openworld setting. Ive routinely ran strikes with Nat 1, 2, and 3 types at the same time.

I've tried the port forwarding and it hasn't worked. Extremely upset I paid $100+ in tax for a game 3 months ago and had it 8 days without being able to play it. There has to be an easier way to play the game.

Now that the game is open, I can't even return the game. Thanks
