Re: Saving in build mode takes forever

@dmz0mnc2lpe8 Does it work okay with an empty Mods folder?

If so, with that quantity of mods, you likely have a fair number of outdated mods and duplicates. It's rare that I don't see a mods folder that big without duplicates. I highly recommend using a tool like Better Exceptions to help you identify at least some of those duplicates (it can catch most of those). It's not set up to catch much CC that has replacements, though.

Another option for finding duplicates is to reorganize your CC only by creator, no other categories. Usually when I see duplicates it looks like the players had too many different ways they were organizing their Mods folder, so a file might be under the creator name, under "baths", and under "baths" under the creator name too, for example.

I actually have Better Exceptions and I often scan for any duplicates and conflicting cc and mods. I don't think that I have duplicates tho. Maybe a few but as I said, I always remove them when I scan. I don't know what the problem might be.
