I have already spoke to sony who told me to get in touch with you. That error code can also relate to corrupt saved data (although it does seem unlikely as I play with several mates and we all experience this)

One thing I have being advised is to check and where needed open my ports on my router. If that does not work it is the game at fault.

With regards to this happening on other games in the 18 months I have being a ps4 owner I have had several games crash I'd probably say once every 4-6 weeks. This is daily and sometimes more than once. If it was a rare occurrence I wouldnt be too bothered but daily is taking the biscuit.

Someone needs to admit responsibility and if not come together and get this problem sorted because it is a joke to be honest.

Since it is a generic PS4 error code I'm afraid that I won't be able to go into further specifics on what the underlying cause might be.

I do want to add that I've been supporting this game since it was launched and I can confirm that I have never encountered this error code in high numbers and as a specific issue with Need for Speed.

Since the troubleshooting steps by Sony do refer to Save Data, you might want to back that up and manually delete the remaining save data. I've also often seen success with users deleting and reinstalling their game data. You can delete the game data by hovering over the game on the Playstation main menu and selecting Options.

Lastly, do have a look at the troubleshooting guide I provided earlier as well.

If you check the twitter feed I have uploaded pictures with the error code and it shows it relates to need for speed. Up on using Google to search I have found that in fact this exact same error code has being reported on numerous occasions for quite a few EA games need for speed bing one of the latest. But there are also videos and forums about need for speed rivals having the same issues.

Sony suggested it could be caused because of a game save but I find it hard to believe that the 4 players I personally play with all have the same error code and find it quiet weird how quick sony refunded one of them as they purchased it from the playstation store. There is definately an issue and fr sony to refund within minuted for a digital purchase shows that something isn't quite right.

I shall look to backing up my data and reinstalling it but I will not be starting again as I have reached rep 70 and got all the trophies other than do a 350,000 drift on mental block in kens car.
It appears that it will be pointless and clearly no game is made to start again when you have finished (unless the individual decides to) seeing as need for speed is a free roam game there it is a waste of time loosing all my hard work.

Let's hope we sort something as I won't just sit down and leave it I will seek legal advice as someone has to admit responsibility and get this sorted. Whether that means ea games needs to get in touch with Sony and find out what is going on or what. I have approximately 100+ photos of the crashes from myself and the people I play with who I physically know. I will also be making a social media page and getting others to report and provide photos if they are also receiving the same error and we shall go from there.
