Re: The Art of the Takedown

This is how I do my takedowns:

1. I boost nudge opponents frequently

2. After boost nudging opponents frequently, I deliver the final blow by ramming opponents on the side or ramming opponents to the walls to send them flying

The only way to ram opponents on the side or to ram opponents to the walls is during cornering. If it's a left-turning corner, then I'll be on my opponent's left side so my opponents will be closer to the outer walls. If it's a right-turning corner, then I'll be on my opponent's right side so my opponents will be closer to the outer walls.

If you're on your opponent's right side when approaching a left-turning corner, then it's impossible to ram on your opponent's side since you're closer to the outer wall. If you're on your opponent's left side when approaching a right-turning corner, then it's impossible to ram on your opponent's side since you're closer to the outer wall.

It's pretty simple to do takedowns really. There's literally no skill needed for takedowns when you just boost nudge your opponents frequently and giving the final blow when cornering. 😉

@TheRealJony Thanks for your reply and your instructions!

Is there a specific race that's good to help me practise?

@Newerbie The longest tracks in the game, which are Blackridge Strip and Ironboar Bridge, are good for practicing ramming and taking out opponents as there's a lot of distance to drive in case you need recovering from a missed ram and gives you many opportunities to ram. 😉

    Good luck!

@richieluv76 The methods I mentioned in my previous post above will definitely help in getting opponents taken out. I had taken out many opponents in Speedhunters special event by doing what I mentioned above. 👿

Winning races against Elliot in Chapter 1 also gives out reward cards containing only bonus cash as well.

I ram and take out opponents for both fun and gaining $500. lol

@TheRealJony if want to ram for fun then more power to you, but the orignal post was about wanting to ram to generate cash, all i was doing was pointing out there are ways to generate higher amounts of cash than trying to ram
